Akkedis are a semiaquatic race of snakelike plant creatures, "standing" six to seven feet tall and far longer than that. Though built similarly to the other races, their plant nature shines through in their sap "blood" and vine-like "flesh." Having only a single gender, they are pollinated by the akkedia butterfly, which they bring with them everywhere they dwell and also cultivate for silk production. As they are not driven by hormones they have reserved personalities, but are not entirely emotionless, and enjoy indulging in subtle insults that seem like compliments.
